Life on Campus
Candor International School provides a residential option for students in Grades 5 through 12, with weekly and full-year boarding options available. Weekly boarders live on campus during the Monday to Friday academic week and go home for the weekend. Full-year boarders live on campus for the entire academic year.
Students share either two or three to a room, contributing to a sense of community and further promoting emotional and mental well-being in addition to their academic progress. Students live in hostels that are large enough to accommodate all of their belongings, comfortable enough for them to live, and decorated in such a way to provide a homely feel, while also providing an opportunity for friendship that can last a lifetime.
Spaces for Learning and Leisure
The residential building includes both a common TV room and a study area, which provides students a space for relaxation, or a place to work on group projects.
Meals are served in the dining hall with healthy, in-house cooked food that is based on a menu that is responsive to both international and Indian tastes. Dining reflects Candor’s commitment to the intersection of nourishment and enjoyment; we continue to ensure students arrive at their studies and activities energized and engaged.
Safety and Wellness
The safety of students is a top priority at Candor. CCTV cameras are installed at strategic locations, and trained security personnel monitor the campus 24 hours a day. The school conducts background verification for all staff and maintains an Emergency Response Team.
The health facilities include a fully outfitted infirmary, with a nurse on duty at all times, and a doctor on call. Sports and physical development are also a focus of the school with artificial turf for tennis, basketball, and football, and a high-tech French swimming pool for both training and leisure.
